These terms apply when you use Isobark’s website, web app or mobile app. By using Isobark, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Isobark provides

Isobark uses forecast data and the profile choices you provide to offer cautious, general guidance about dog walks. It is a planning aid. It does not replace your own judgement, checking your dog, the pavement and route, veterinary advice, emergency services, or official weather-warning services.

Using the service safely

You are responsible for deciding whether it is safe to walk your dog. Conditions can change quickly and forecasts can be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on Isobark for an emergency, and contact a qualified vet or appropriate emergency service where that is needed. Use official weather services for severe-weather decisions.

Your account and profile

An account is optional. Keep access to your chosen sign-in provider secure and tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without permission. You are responsible for the information you submit. Do not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing material, and do not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer or misuse the service.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features to maintain, secure or improve Isobark. We will take reasonable care in operating the service, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or that every forecast, alert or recommendation will suit every dog or situation.

Intellectual property

Isobark and its content, design and software are owned by or licensed to Isobark. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify or distribute it except where the law permits.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, Isobark is provided on an as-available basis. We are not responsible for losses that result from reliance on forecast-based guidance where you have not made your own safety assessment. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you a different right. For questions about these terms, contact privacy@isobark.com.
